Hinode Spectropolarimeter (SP) Level 2 (Calibrated) Full Stokes Data

The SOT/SP level 2 data are outputs from the MERLIN spectral line inversion developed under the Community Spectro-polarimetric Analysis Center (CSAC) initiative. Each Level 2 dataset is stored in a FITS file containing 42 extensions, one per inversion parameter or ancillary data product. In order to read a specific extension in the FITS file, use the IDL READFITS function with the EXT=n tag (to extract the magnetic field strength, for instance).
