Thermal Analysis of Balloon-Borne Instrument Packages

Peter Fowler, of the University of Bristol, designed a modification to balloon flight equipment in an attempt to maintain temperature at an acceptable level. This report describes a test flight conducted by NCAR to verify the efficacy of Fowler's temperature control system and compares the results of the analysis with the flight data.
