Temperature Dependent Infrared Cross Sections for CFC-11, CFC-12, CFC-13, CFC-14, CFC-22, CFC-113, CFC-114, and CFC-115

This report presents absorption cross sections at temperatures of 293, 273, 253, 233, 213 and 203 K for the chlorofluorocarbon species CFC-11 (CC13F), CFC-12 (CC12F2), CFC-13 (CC1F3), CFC-14 (CF4), CFC-22 (CHC1F2), CFC-113 (C2C13F13), CFC- 114 (C2C12F4), and CFC- 115 (C2C1F5). The infrared cross sections are those reported by McDaniel et al. (1990), and are displayed in graphical form to facilitate quick identification and quantification of CFC gases in high and medium resolution remote sensing studies.
