Polar Bears: Breath analyses

Exhaled breath was collected and analyzed for stable carbon isotopes at the University of Wyoming Stable Isotope Facility, and for respirometry exchange ratio following Whiteman et al. (2012; J. of Mammalogy 93:413-421). Information on bear IDs and dates of capture is not available because of the threatened species status of the subjects.
