MTSAT Infrared Imagery

This data set contains 30 minute thermal infrared channel imagery over the Western Pacific Ocean from MTSAT-2 up to 7 October and then MTSAT-1R. MTSAT-2 operation was stopped during this time due to image data processing failure at JMA. These images were developed by NCAR/EOL. The files are in jpg format.
