ISS Wind Lidar Data Products

Vaisala/Leosphere Windcube and Halo Lidar products collected by the EOL Integrated Sounding System team during the Multi-point Monin-Obukhov similarity horizontal array turbulence study (M2HATS) field campaign in Tonopah, Nevada, USA. All data for a given scan type (i.e. Stare PPI, RHI, VER) are available for order as tarred, compressed files (.tar.gz). These include Windcube CF-Radial lidar parameters provided in individual netCDF files for each scan, and leased Halo lidar Stare scans in hpl ascii format. Quality controlled, daily netCDF files of Velocity Azimuth Display (VAD) technique derived wind profiles and 30-minute consensus averaged wind profiles are also avaiable for bulk order as tar.gz files.
