Information on the Geomagnetic Data Collected for the Lunar Current System Project

In order to make a worldwide analysis of the current system of the lunar daily geomagnetic variation, the geomagnetic data collected during the IGY/IGC period (July 1957 to December 1959) was used at about 100 observatories. The data from about 100 station-components were then put on magnetic tape and were later used for spectrum analysis and other studies.
