Abstract

This dataset includes JPEG format images from northern Alaska taken during the growing season during the years 1990 through 1999. There is one image per year from early July for years 1990 through 1992 and 1994 through 1999. For the year 1993 there are 12 twice monthly maximum Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) composites that were created from an average of 18 images per composite period. The 12 composite periods span a continuous period from April 1 to September 30 for the year 1993.
