Abstract

This data set contains the several forecast images products from the NOAA/NCEP GFS Ensemble. The products include precipitation (ensemble mean and standard deviation), 500mb heights (ensemble mean), 500 mb heights (spaghetti), mean sea level pressure and 1000-500 mb thickness (ensemble mean). The products are available every 24 hours out to the 240 hour forecast. The images were created by NOAA/ESRL/PSD. This data set contains imagery from the two PLOWS field phases, 6 February to 30 March 2009 and 14 October 2009 to 10 March 2010. No imagery are available for the period between the field phases.
