SOLO3 Polar-coordinate Radar Display
Abstract
Solo3 is a C++ implementation of the legacy soloii radar display application, designed for the visualization of data from a single radar in polar coordinates. soloii was developed in C by Dick Oye at EOL from 1990 to 2005. solo3 was created in 2013 and 2014, by translating the soloii C code into C++. In order to maintain the software and make it publicly available on GitHub, solo3 was incorporated into LROSE - the Lidar Radar Open Software Environment.
