Abstract

This Dataset consists of continuous measurements of ultrafine particle concentration taken aboard the C-130 aircraft by Peter McMurry (University of Minnesota). The data represents the total concentration of particles per cubic centimeter larger than 3 nm measured with the University of Minnesota CNC and the ultrafine concentration of particles between 3 and 4 nm measured with the University of Minnesota pulse height analysis method. The data consist of date, sample number, start and stop time (UTC), total concentration (cm-3), and ultrafine concentration (cm-3). This dataset was processed and quality controlled following the ACE-1 field phase.
