Abstract

The Cloud and Surface Parameter Retrieval (CASPR) data set consists of SHEBA AVHRR arctic satellite retrievals corresponding to the Arctic Regional Climate Model Intercomparison Project (ARCMIP) EASE-Grid for the years 1997 and 1998. The International Satellite Cloud Climatology Project (ISCCP) Cloud and Radiative Flux dataset is a subset of the ISCCP FDX-P2 SHEBA Flux data regridded into the 50km ARCMIP EASE-Grid. It contains surface and top-of-atmosphere radiative fluxes and the important physical quantities used to calculate them. This data set contains the EASE-Grid versions of both the CASPR and ISCCP data sets.
