Abstract

This data set includes airborne measurements obtained from the CIRPAS Twin Otter aircraft during the "Physics of Stratocumulus Tops" (POST) project off the west coast of Monterey, CA. This data set contains 1 hertz (1 sps) navigation, state parameter and preliminary microphysics flight level data, as well as Particulate Volume Monitor (PVM) liquid water content and PSA, NRL Solar and IR radiometer data, CASF size distributions of aerosol and cloud particles, Cloud and Precipitation Probe (CIP) size distributions of cloud and precipitation particles, CIRPAS CCN-200 data, DRI CCN and supersaturation, Passive Cavity Aerosol Spectrometer probe (PCASP) data, PDI concentration and liquid water content and Ultra Fast Thermometer (UFT) hot-wire temperatur data. The files are in NetCDF format. This data set contains final data. This data can be viewed using RAF's ncplot and ncpp programs.
