Abstract

This dataset consists of monthly GIF images of Land Cover (vegetation) provided by the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), EROS Data Center (EDC). These Land Cover mosaics were produced from AVHRR imagery and are but a sample of the detailed land cover database available from EDC on CD-ROM.
