The BAMEX Aircraft: NOAA P-3 Navigation, State Parameter, and Microphysics dataset in network common data form (netCDF) is one of several datasets provided by the National Center for Atmospheric Research/Earth Observing Laboratory (NCAR/EOL) in support of the Bow Echo and Mesoscale Convective Vortex Experiment (BAMEX) project. The data were collected by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration Aircraft Operations Center (NOAA/AOC) P-3 aircraft and converted to netCDF format by NCAR/EOL. Only the final QC'd data (Type 5) and associated metadata have been converted. The raw (Type 4) data are not included in this dataset. See the README for details.
